What is Nitrous Oxide?

Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas) can help decrease a patient’s anxiety during dental treatment and increase their tolerance to having procedures completed. Nitrous Oxide is very safe yet effective. Patients are given a choice of scent to breathe and monitored throughout the procedure. At the end of the appointment, the patient will breathe regular oxygen for about 5 minutes and be ready to leave our office.
